Mégane Voghell is trained in image manipulation and visual arts. Graduated in Intermedia / Cyberarts from Concordia University, she lives and works in Montreal. Her artistic production considers and reshapes the mythologies behind contemporary imagery in a context of the economy of attention, self-design, magic and interconnection. She has participated in various art-related collectives (Academy of Art Video Art, Interfold Magazine) and served as co-curator for Sans feu ni lieu; Sans foi ni loi (Studio XX & Width: 700px, 2014). Her work has been featured in various screenings and exhibitions including Harbinger (Eastern Bloc, 2015), Field Tasting (Eastern Bloc, 2015), FME in Rouyn-Noranda (Center l’Écart, 2015) Artistic centre Le Lobe in Chicoutimi (2016) and more recently at the Mirage festival in Lyon (2017).
