ArtJaws, Art & New Medias,

The ArtJaws marketplace, dedicated to new media artists, was launched in February 2016 by Anne-Cécile Worms, expert in digital art and digital cultures, founder and editor of the Magazine of Digital Cultures MCD since 2001, CEO of Art2M, of its media and producer of the exhibition Variation Media Art Fair in Paris.

Designed as a space for the exploration of contemporary art in the new medias field, ArtJaws is committed to working with renowned and emerging artists to extend their influence in the international art market.

ArtJaws offers thematic collections and invites guest curators. Emblematic personalities specialized in the art of new media, precursors or pioneers of digital cultures, they operate, for ArtJaws, limited selections of artworks. This approach centered on the artworks curation gives to ArtJaws a clear identity, a strength and a disruptive proposal sources, that worths and interrogates the actual contemporary art market expertise’s.

Founder, Publisher & Art Curator

Anne-Cécile Worms, founder, and director of Art2M, has been exploring digital arts for more than 20 years, leading her to become a major figure in that field in France and internationally. Her expertise is based on an international network of artists, designers, and engineers who create installations and events related to art and new technologies. “Serial entrepreneur” in the fields of innovation and culture, graduated from the “Institut d’Etudes Politique, Paris” (Political Sciences Insitute of Paris), Anne-Cécile Worms cofounded her first start-up in 1999, specialized in online electronic music in free download.
As an editor and journalist, since 2003 she has been publishing Magazine des Cultures Digitales (MCD), featuring thematic issues such as Art/Industry, Conjuring Drones, New Climate Stories… guides and books, including “Art et Culture(s) Numérique(s), panorama international”. She is also the digital arts expert for Institut Français. In 2009 she founded Art2M (Art To Machine), a young innovative enterprise ( J.E.I) specialized in producing and distributing exclusive or custom digital artworks of innovative design. With digital cultures at the heart of its process, Art2M offers its clients (marketing agencies, institutions, corporations and private organizations) innovative branding communication and always connected events. Since 2014, Art2M produces “Variation, Media Art Fair” the only art fair dedicated to the new media contemporary art market in France. Each year, the exhibition presents a selection of more than 50 international artists in the heart of Paris, welcomes more than 14,000 visitors and generate numerous sales.
