Rendez-vous de Némo #2, Église Saint-Merry, September 22

The second Rendez-vous de Némo organized by the Némo Biennale will take place at the Eglise de Saint-Merry in collaboration with its two partners Babbel and the Crak festival

An exciting program! After his memorable “ThisQuietArmy” guitar solo show during the last biennale, Keravec Erwan will be back with a stunning proposal: an incredible contemporary bagpipe solo show. Power, crossover, astonishment … What if the bagpipe was about to become your favorite instrument? Then it will be the tour of Entropia, between a ritual immersive installation and an audiovisual brilliant performance – that’s very Némo! This remarquable artwork by Éric Raynaud and Louis-Philippe Saint-Arnault has been realized in the dome of the S.A.T. (Société des arts technologiques) in Montréal. The Église Saint Merry will provide a new dimension to this total spectacle. Some will come for the bagpipes and will leave with the souvenir of digital art; others will come for the electronica and will discover the contemporary improvisation. In all cases, this serendipity will be concerned with the most disheveled lyricism.
