Virgile Fraisse (Paris, 1990) lives and works in Paris. He studied at Otis College (Los Angeles, MFA) and is graduated from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris with jury honours (MFA, 2014).  He was part of several collective exhibitions, including Hors Pistes Traversées, Centre Pompidou (cur. Hou Hanru, Palais des Beaux-arts, Paris, France).  His first solo show SEA-ME-WE, chapter two: Of all Wired Blocks Holding a City was held at the Clark House Initiative (cur. Sumeshwar Sharma, Mumbai, India).  He is the winner of Video Prize from Beaux-arts Foundation, Mécènes du Sud, ADAGP and CNC DICRéAM grants.  Virgile Fraisse is also the author of performances A cables Dialectic performed at the Palais des Beaux-arts (Paris); Occupancy scenarios(I, II, III) at Arnaud Deschin Gallery (Marseille), at Triangle France, Friche Belle de Mai and Beffroi of Montrouge; SEA-ME-WE, chapter two at Centre Pompidou – Hors Pistes Festival (Paris).  Virgile Fraisse is currently resident at Cité Internationale des arts of Paris until July 2017 and will be part of the Karachi Biennale next October.
