Jean-Pierre Attal was born in 1963. He lives and works in Paris.

His work is focused on the place of the individual in our society. Through his snapshots, he tells us about a world where people cross paths but never really meet. Jean-Pierre Attal has chosen to explain and explore through photography the anonymous intimacy of urban society. Behind the glass facades, as in a hive, life unfolds, swarming, limitless and anonymous. From defense offices to telephone booths, between art and social archeology, the artist deciphers the architecture of offices and contemporary “glass spaces”. But in the end, people are the central point of each of his photographs.
