“This project was set in motion when Anne & Julien asked me for 16 pieces for their magazine HEY! modern art & pop culture. I was given a free hand on the medium and subject. I chose to do a run of fantastic landscapes, my way. I worked the entire series on a rotation, each piece coming around three times every sitting. The idea was I wanted to start and finish them all at the same time. No first or last one, in a sense they are all one.”
