Jean Hubert (1987) lives and works between Paris and Amsterdam. He graduated in 2010 of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris (Ensba). During his cursus, he studied for one year video at the Emily Carr University of Vancouver. He followed in 2012 and 2013 residency program in Amsterdam, at the Rijkskakdemie, during which his work was supported by institutions such as the Amsterdam Fonds Voor de Kunst, the Mondriaan Fonds, and the Nederlands FilmFonds. He pursued his practise through another residency program in the Fondation BilbaoArte in 2014. He is currently doing a residency in the Cité des Arts in Paris.
