Mo墨 is a parametric particle system based on Brownian motion or pedesis physical phenomenon, which is a random motion of particles suspended in a fluid resulting from a collision with atoms or molecules in the gas or liquid. The character is simplified Chinese for the word mo (墨) meaning ink, a conclusive name for this self-customized particle system made from computer programming logic created by the artist. The form of the project is highly mutable, manifesting itself in post-rendered video or real- time visuals with interactive applications in Operating Systems or Web browsers.
